Winning a Scholastic Art Award is something every high school student planning to pursue a degree in Art or Design should strive for. A Scholastic Gold Key or Silver Key equals a scholarship at many schools. What’s more, winning a Scholastic Award looks meritable on college applications and future internship and job applications. It is a great way to set yourself up for successfully applying to Art & Design college programs and as a professional Artist or Designer later on. You can apply in three steps; register, upload your image files and send in the required forms. The deadline for the NYC region is December 17th.
Many many Ashcan students have won Gold and Silver Keys, so if you have any questions about what Scholastic is looking for, send me an email: hayleypalmatier@ashcanart.com
Good luck,
