Art Portfolio Prep for NYC Young Artists: Preparing to Apply to Specialized Art High Schools or BFA Programs

Specialized art high schools, including the High School of Fashion Industries, the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and the High School of Art & Design, LaGuardia all require applicants to submit portfolios of their art work.

The most competitive BFA programs in the country, such as The School of Visual Arts, Parsons, Pratt, Cooper Union and RISD require applicants to submit portfolios of their art work as well.

No matter how talented you are, taking Portfolio Preparation classes will put you on a whole different level, giving you a great advantage over other applicants. So not only will you get in to the best programs, like most of our students you’ll be on track to being awarded large scholarships.

In addition to our own Portfolio Prep Program, we’ve made a list of New York City programs that help young artists prepare their artwork to apply to specialized art high schools and BFA Programs.
