In Ashcan’s Portfolio Prep Programs, our students are required to make at least on sculpture for their Art Portfolio, ideally several using different materials. This is because it’s important to show admissions that you can use multiple mediums & techniques.
Including sculptural work in your Art Portfolio, shows an ability to think creatively and a willingness to experiment and try new things- which is important for Admissions to see in a potential candidate for their school.
