If you’re applying for a competitive Fashion Design program like the ones offered at Pratt, Parsons, Cornell, OTIS and Central St Martins you’ll need a great portfolio to get in, and it’s important that you know each school's requirements, because they’re a little different.
The main goal of the Art Portfolio you’ll use to apply to a Graphic Design program, is to communicate with admissions the kind of person you are, your creative thought process, your design sensibility, your knowledge and your perspective as a designer.
In these examples the students challenged the idea, content and structure of the traditional book, using different materials with techniques, they are a fun way to express your ideas and they look great in your art portfolio for art school.
